Free Space Measurement Repeatability (E-band, PP/PC)

Overview

Repeatability of measurements is extremely important in materials measurement. Repeatability of the measurement system allows R&D to identify more detailed differences in properties and provide feedback for the next prototype. In manufacturing, monitoring samples with good repeatability enables higher quality control. The free-space device has been said to have poor measurement Repeatability in the past, but we have greatly improved it. Here are the results of repeated measurements of polypropylene and polycarbonate plates. Since the system is re-calibrated and measured each time, the results are close to the actual measurement conditions.
