Fabry-Perot Resonator Plastic Films (110 - 170 GHz, PTFE, etc.)

Overview

We measured variety of plastic films in the D-band (110 - 170 GHz), which has been the focus of attention for 6G and other applications. In particular, the dielectric loss tangent (Df) shows a variety of frequency characteristics depending on the sample, indicating the importance of evaluating at the frequencies where the film is actually used.

Samples

PTFE (200 um), COP (187 um), PP (38 um), MPI (50 um), LCP (48 um), PC (200 um), Kapton (78 um)

Note

Detailed evaluation of low-dielectric/low-loss materials such as PTFE is possible.
